Moe’s is coming down today
10/10/2006 2:55 PM by John M
As the vacant lot continues to grow, the former Moe’s Convenience Store at the intersection at Nine Mile and 25th Street is being demolished today.
Not Moe’s….for the love of god NOT MOE’S!
Was that da place that looked like a gas station??? What the FUCK is wrong with the city…STOP this non sense/ must they tear every thing down??? dont make this into NORFOLK city…freakin houses with garages on them DOWNTOWN!!!!!
Yes, it was that ghetto mart that used to be a gas station.
The lot is being cleared so that the area can get a real grocery store. Everyone that I’ve heard from has been very supportive of the idea.
What, the existing grocery store on 25th isn’t real enough for you? Who’s putting up the new one?
Main Street is so far away and down that huge freakin’ hill 🙂
I think that the notion is that there is a large enough population back this way with limited or no access to a car. I would *love* to be able to walk over and buy groceries.
And the Sunny Market really doesn’t cut it.
