Next Renovator’s Open House set for M Street
05/05/2008 8:56 PM by John M
The 19th-century Italianate house at 2311 M Street, slated for demolition in 2005, was saved when ACORN found in David Collett a buyer for the house up for the massive task of total renovation and rehabilitation. ACORN’s next Renovator’s Open House will be at this now wonderfully renovated house on May 21st from 5:30 to 7PM.
The event is open to the public, with a suggested $5 donation to support ACORN’s work to preserve and strengthen the city’s oldest neighborhoods. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. For more information call (804) 422-2148 or send an e-mail to info@richmondneighborhoods.org.

Wow- what a wreck that place was- and how great it looks now! ACORN and the buyer/ renovator did an awesome job saving this place from demolition.
