Slavery reparations march on Saturday

As noted in the RTD article Slavery reparations march tomorrow, a march and rally in support of reparations for slavery will begin at noon tomorrow at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School.

After the rally, participants will march to the state Capitol to hear a series of speeches.

Speakers will include Wautella Ibn Yusuf of the National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America (N’COBRA); Hajji Mauri Saalakhan of the Peace and Justice Foundation in Washington; Chimurenga Coltrane of the December 12th Movement of New York; Fattah Muhammad of the Richmond-based Concerned Muslims for Change; and Imam Muhammad Abdus-Salaam of Masjid Bilal in Church Hill.
