triple shooting at Mosby Court
05/19/2005 7:25 AM by John M
Richmond Police are investigation a triple shooting in Mosby Court on the 2100 block of Accommodation Street Tuesday night. Timothy Williams, the 31st homicide victim in Richmond this year, was a 1996 graduate of Armstrong High School and worked for Braxton Moving Company.
There is a short article at nbc12 and a great story the RTD.
TAGGED: crime
from the RTD story
Timothy Williams, 27, was struck in the head and killed. Jennifer Williams was shot in the hip. Another man, not identified by police, suffered an eye wound from another bullet. “The family was just devastated. These were loving, kind people,” said crime-victims advocate Alicia Rasin, a family spokeswoman. “They could get along with anybody.”
Apparently though, there was one group with which Timothy Williams did not want to associate. Williams’ stepfather, Henry Davis, said his stepson had made it clear to the local dealers in the project that he did not want their business going on in front of his doorstep.
“We know how the city and projects work,” Davis said. “If you’re not running with that kind . . . I understand it makes you a marked man. ”
