Student gets free Playstation

Obeying the rules is paying off for a student at Martin Luther King Middle School.

Floyd Washington is receiving a Playstation 2 from School Resource Officer George Banks. Banks has purchased the Playstation with his own funds and plans to present it to Washington today at the school.

“This student has followed all the rules without complaint and acted as a role model for other kids,” Banks said. “You hear so much about what’s wrong with kids, here’s one who’s done everything right and he deserves some credit for that.”
