After having their sentencing continued on May 23rd, the 4 teens convicted in last August’s Libby Hill attack will be sentenced on Tuesday.

Tomorrow, Judge Beverly W. Snukals of Richmond Circuit Court will sentence brothers Kelvin Lightfoot, 17, and Kenard Rawshawn Lightfoot, 16, and cousins Rashard Leon Garnett, 15 and Travon Montra Garnett, 14, after they pleaded guilty in February to charges of rape, sodomy, abduction with intent to defile and robbery.

All four teens, who had been on juvenile probation at the time of the Aug. 4 attack, confessed to police Detectives James Simmons and Shirley Rinaldi after their arrests in September. They pleaded guilty to the charges in February and face maximum penalties of life in prison on each count.

The RTD has an article about one of the victims of the attack at After rape, a long healing process.
