fire at 25th and Burton Streets

WTVR6 is reporting a two-alarm fire affecting several buildings in the 1000 block of North 25th Street. Two people had to be rescued from inside one of the buildings.
RTD is reporting that “four people, including the two injured, were in the building at 1003 N. 25th St., where the fire started. The building houses a shoe repair shop on the bottom floor and apartments above. The fire spread next door to 1005 N. 25th, displacing about four people there …”
nbc12 has a photo. “Firefighter officials say 10 companies responded to the fire, with about 60 to 70 firefighters on the scene. Three buildings were destroyed, leaving 10 people homeless.”
Man Remains Critical After Church Hill Fire: “An elderly man caught in an early morning fire on Wednesday remains in critical condition. Another man rescued from the fire has been released from the hospital.”
nbc12: “A fire in Church Hill has been ruled an accident, but it did result in one arrest. Fire officials said Thursday it was accidentally caused by an illegal activity, but didn’t elaborate.”
