another shooting (and it is almost a surprise)
A man was hospitalized after he was found shot in an alley in the 2500 block of Nine Mile Road shortly before 9pm last night.
The intersection of 25th Street, Nine Mile Road, and Fairmount Avenue has certainly seen it’s share of violence over the past year, with at least 2 fatal shootings within a block and a half. Recent and ongoing efforts by by the police, Better Housing Coalition, and the New Vision Civic League, though, have blunted somewhat the area’s illicit bustle. While this is an area with a history of violence, drug dealing, and prostitution, this is also an area with new and restored houses replacing blighted housing at amazing rate.

I think they were chasing someone throughout the hill on friday night. I saw both city cops and henrico county cops.
Yeah, we heard police activity all night long on Friday.
