03/06/2006 3:33 PM by John M
On Saturday, April 1st, from 10am to 4pm A.C.O.R.N. will present a hands-on window sash restoration and repair workshop that is designed to teach homeowners how to repair their original, historic wooden window sashes.
This workshop is for the serious renovator who wants to learn window sash restoration techniques. Participants should come dressed to learn and work. Class size will be limited to 12 and advance reservations are required. The cost, which includes lunch, is $15.00 for A.C.O.R.N. members and $25.00 for nonmembers.
Find out more at the ACORN site or call 422-2148.

Do you know who is teaching the workshop?
Josh, Dixon Kerr will be doing the workshop.
Well that’s good. Window restoration is really quite difficult, or costly, or both… but Dixon certainly knows what he’s doing.
Unfortunately I wont be able to make the class as I am doing the Ukrop 10 k that day.
Do you have a contact number for Dixon Kerr as I would be interested in getting a quote to fix two Sash window in my 1950’s Cape.
Many Thanks
