Building Safer Communities Follow-Up Meeting

08/19/2006 10:51 PM by

You may have heard of the Building Safer Communities workshop the
Richmond Police Department sponsored on Saturday, July 29
.  If you
weren’t able to make it to the workshop, here’s your opportunity to
learn about the problem-solving model they introduced to us, and to
start applying it in Union Hill.

From Lora Toothman:

A group of attendees who were assigned a
real-life problem during the workshop will be meeting to discuss
our progress and next steps.  We’d like to use the meeting to
introduce the process to more of our Union Hill neighbors, and to
begin applying the problem-solving model to issues in our immediate
neighborhood.

The meeting will be at 711 N. 23rd Street on Wednesday, August 23 at 7 PM, and there
will be drinks and snacks.  Please come if you can, and share this
message with anyone you think would be interested. RSVP to Lora Toothaman at loratoothman@gmail.com by Monday, August 21 so I’ll know how many chairs we need!
