Richmond woman charged in gas-pump hit and run
From NBC12 News
Richmond Police say they’ve tracked down the woman they believe struck a gas pump with her car and then kept driving. Dateshia Smith, 27, is charged with hit and run.
Police say she caused the crash that set off a small explosion at an Exxon station at 17th and Broad streets. The incident was recorded by a surveillance camera at the gas station.
After the surveillance tape was shown on TV last night, investigators say, several people called and identified the driver.
