West keeps on keeping on

Save Richmond points out and brings clarification to a recent 7-2 decision by the Richmond School Board to continue litigation over funding. 7th District School Board representative Keith West was one of the 2 votes against.
But Keith West, one of the two board members who voted against appealing the decision, said the board should not be dragging out the fight.
“Ultimately, it does no good. . . . The fact is that the constitution of Virginia forces us to rely on them for our money, and we should accept that,” West said.
TAGGED: schools
and stop blowing the school system budget on legal costs
That is what West voted to do: stop dicking around in the courts and deal with the situation.
I’d like to reiterate my proposed solution of gathering Wilder, Braxton & Pantele together and cracking their heads together, 3 Stooges style. It would at least be as productive, considerably cheaper, and a lot more satisfying.
BGW’s proposal would be entertaining and maybe generate some revenue on pay per view
West has done a great job.
He ought to consider running for Council.
Sounds like a plan to me 🙂
I agree that West is doing an execellent job. Ray suggests that West should consider council and I don’t necessary disagree. I would like to know why everyone uses School Board as a stepping stone. I find that when that happens the schools continue to get screwed. I would like to see some fix a few of the issues before moving on to other opportunities.
