want to help the library?
08/22/2007 9:17 PM by John M
There was a meeting tonight at the East End Library (25th and R Street) towards establishing a Library Advisory Board for the community branch library. The nascent Advisory Board is seeking representatives from local civic groups and organizations to join the board.
The nascent Advisory Board has the initial objectives of: 1) to be an advocate for the East End Branch, 2) increase circulation, 3) attend community affairs to promote the library, and 4) establish a volunteer group.
For more information or to see how you can participate, please contact Veronica Holloway at veronica.holloway@richmondgov.com or (804)646-4474.

I have to say I’m going to have to seriously consider doing this.
