The RTD has a long look at how the extended involvement of 2 officers from Sector 113, Jon Bridges and Greg Nienow, helped prevent last week’s stabbing suspect (and East End resident) Johnny Hughes from possessing the guns that he so desperately wanted.
One has to wonder if the poor man could not afford his meds, how could he afford the handguns?
His parole should have been revoked the minute he was found off of his meds.
This poor man was receiving $1,700/mo in SS disability cash and was pissed his check was late. Hence Susanne was murdered for her costume jewelry.
Just read the Fan District Hub account and two RTD articles. The RTD story about the officers was no longer available. I’ll see if I can track it down and post it again. So tragic and utterly senseless.
