a restaurant for 31st Street?

The city’s Land Use Log Book (PDF) includes a reference to a request for a special use permit “to authorize a restaurant and parking area” for 1008 North 31st Street.
TAGGED: Church Hill North
If I remember correctly, a gentleman gave a presentation at one of McQuinns’ town hall meetings last year saying that he wanted to put a seafood restaurant there.
creechdawg has posted a photo of the location:
that would be great to have a restaurant there! any word of if/when it will happen?
Is this the restaurant that the gentleman that opened Que Pasa is working on next?
Unless ownership has changed since this time last year when the original Seafood Restaurant presentation was given, then no.
I did not actually witness the presentation, because I left the Town Hall meeting early to attend the Mayor’s “State of the City” address. However, at the beginning of the meeting Ms. McQuinn did introduce the gentleman owner who was to give his presentation later.
The Que Pasa sibling is reportedly also going to be on 25th but in the 1000 block.
Woohoo! The Que Pasa sibling will be a block from my house!
