Feels Like Drowning, a short film by Church Hill resident Lucas Krost, is one of five finalists in the US in the 48 Hour Film Project. For the competition, he had 48 hours to produce a five minute film and shoot it. You can view the film here; you’ll have to register at 48.tv to vote in support of Lucas.
Once you’re registered: To rank our film, register with the 48.tv then go to competitions tab on the main page, then select 2008 hd showdown, and then click more films to view all 5 competitors (Lizzie Strata seems like the toughest competition)
TAGGED: Lucas Krost
Krost’s film is splendid…awful and sad.
yes.
Local boy does good! That’s wonderful congrats on the nomination and good luck.
Wow, this short movie is really powerful. Made me feel all squirmy and frightened about what might happen next in the story.
That’s what great art is supposed to do, elllict a strong emotional reaction.
Jim Dabb, our resident play/screen writer helped create the script. What an amazing collaboration. And to think it was writen for the “road movie” category. Whew. Geniuses in our midst.
oh, and Lucas is right, “Lizzie Strata” is worth the watch too. very funny, well produced, etc. but doesn’t have the great story behind “feels like drowning”.
