Liberty or Death Anniversary Reenactment

The Patrick Henry Committee of St. John’s Church announces the 233rd Anniversary Reenactment of the Second Virginia Convention of March 1775. In the presence of Washington, Jefferson and other notable Virginians, Patrick Henry delivered his passionate call for liberty, uttering the immortal words “give me liberty or give me death!”. St.John’s Church, March 16 @1PM, free.
1:00 p.m. Free Tickets distributed at door
1:30 p.m. Patriotic music program
2:00 p.m. Reenactment begins

For those of you who have yet to see it, I highly recommend it. It was fantastically acted and many kudos we owe to the men who take this seriously enough to memorize what was is now a very hard language style!
they need to update the speech and make it more relevant to our time, such as instead of give me liberty or give me death, it should be “give me government or give me death”
