The National Park Service recently launched Richmond, Virginia – Discover Our Shared Heritage Travel Itinerary as a guide to “one of the oldest and most historically and architecturally rich communities in the United States”. The featured sites include Leigh Street Baptist Church, Oakwood-Chimborazo Historic District, St. John’s Church Historic District and St. John’s Episcopal Church, Union Hill Historic District, and the Woodward House.
What a fantastic effort! Make sure your visitors take a look before they arrive. And, thanks to Tyler Potterfield of the City of Richmond and the Committee of Arcitectural Review.
Wow! What a great site…not just for the Church Hill area but for all areas mentioned. I took a look through it and learned quite a bit about an area where I have lived my entire life! GREAT work and thanks!
