There are 2 local items on the agenda for Monday’s city council meeting:
Ord. No. 2008-156 To conditionally rezone the properties at 1201, 1203, 1205, 1207, 1208, 1209, 1224 North 28th Street and 2832 R Street from the M-1 Light Industrial District to the R-63 Multi-family Urban-Residential District ***.
Ord. No. 2008-161 To authorize the special use of *** 2304 East Broad Street for the purposes of furniture repair and storage within a completely enclosed building ***.

That’s the old Beckstoffer’s Mill site and is almost two entire blocks on either side of R St. The Better Housing Coalition has the purchase contract and is turning it residential.
