The Richmond Police daily crime report has 2 recent armed robberies in the area, one at 24th&Marshall and another on the 400 block of 28th Street.
1st ROBBERY

2400 E. Marshall St.
A female reported she was robbed by an unknown male with a gun.
1st ATTEMPTED ROBBERY
9/9/08 11:00 p.m.
400 block of North 28th Street.
A male reported he was assaulted by an unknown male who tried to rob him.
TAGGED: crime
That was our neighbor who was robbed at 24th and Marshall on her way to Patrick Henry’s around 9:00 pm. She was robbed at gun point while other people at a distance witnessed it.
The robber made off with under ten dollars and her ID which was later
dropped off to her front door. Someone must have found it on the street.
When asked if she was freaked out about being robbed at gun point she said that what was really upsetting for her was being taken to the 1st Precinct to look through photos in an attempt to ID the robber. She couldn’t believe the stacks of photos of young male offenders.
That’s just in the 1st Precinct alone!!
Robbery on 400 block of 28th street? Interesting.
Maybe, just maybe, the busy meth dealer one block away may have something to do with crime nearby.
“the busy Meth Dealer one block away” means Exactly where – which block?
29th Street between Clay and Leigh in the middle of the block. Just look for the shittiest tenement.
Four hours after the attempted robbery, an eighteen-wheeler stopped at 28th and Clay intersection and a drug dealer hops in the cab. Drug buyers park along Clay waiting to get a phone call telling them it’s their turn.
I think this is just the start of robberies and thefts in this particular area.
Have you communicated with the sector 111 lieutenant?
The quickest to get rid of the dealers is to buy the place where they live, kick ’em out so you can renovate (perfectly legal), fix it up a bit, & rent it to decent people. If you can’t afford to do it by yourself, join with a few of your neighbors, form an LLC, and do it together. Trust me, it works.
ROBBERY / RAPE
9/11/08 5:00 p.m.
1200 block of North 25th Street
A female reported she was robbed and sexually assaulted by unknown males with a gun.
ROBBERY ATTEMPT
9/12/08 5:32 p.m.
1715 Rogers St.
A male reported he was assaulted by five unknown males with a gun who tried to rob him.
#7 My neighbors all say they’d like to buy it and turn it into a vacant lot. It’s a cinder block apartment building that is just a piece of junk. It’s for sale by owner now, but I doubt anyone would like to buy it.
The police are “fully aware” of the issue, by the way. Now there is a prostitute walking the block.
eradicate the scum!
