Liberty Lecture Series welcomes Dr. Edward L. Ayers

Dr. Edward L. Ayers, president of the University of Richmond and scholar of the American South, will ne at St. John’s Church for a discussion of a continuation of his book In the Presence of Mine Enemies: The Civil War in the Heart of America, 1859-1863 on Wednesday, October 1, at 11AM (Lunch/Book Signing: 12-1PM).
The lecture is free and open to the public. Lunches are available by pre-order only and cost $10. Copies of Dr. Ayers’s book may be ordered ahead with lunch or purchased at the event. Call (804) 649-0711 ext. 301. Lunch seating is limited. Reserve early.
