How are they going to get all those fat cat Republicans in that row house? Where are they going to park?
Maybe their numbers are plummeting along with the stock markets.
Bill, once again….pot meet kettle, Fat Cat.
And, not sure why parking is suddenly a problem or a concern.
Intolerant much, Dems?
Sam:
That’s not what the Dems I know would say. That’s the fightin’ words of fascism. Just like Neo-Cons do not represent many traditional GOP’s.
Oh, what a world, what a world…
Maybe afterwards they’ll march down to Shockoe Bottom and picket the ACORN office.
To quote Bill Hartsock: “Didn’t this same studity surface in another post?”
intoerance? the GOP HAS SPENT 12 YEARS fanning the flames of divisiveness and moral outrage over gay rights, cultural diversity and using govt to achiieve loathsome social goals of intolerance. mere days after ramming a corporate welfare policy up congress’s collective ass the GOP has run ads blaming the meltdown on the democratic party. this is the new republican party a collection of hateful impotent powermongers whose stategy of divide and conquer has finally come back to bite them on the ass. what would you expect from a party whose house incumbent is nothing but a houseboy for assorted corporate subverters of the democratic process. eric cantor never met a campaign fatcat whose wallet he wouldnt suck. this colostomy bag in a 2000.00 suit should have been turned out on the street like the whore that he is yet his uncanny ability to kiss anybodys ass with a big enough bankroll has endeared him to a republican base paralyzed by fear of a changing world.cantor isnt a republican. republicans traditionally espoused values associated with sound fiscal management. their only god was mammon and they were content to leave social issues up to the individual. well we all can see how that has 180d as the heady brew of intolerance served up by an alliance of intolrent religious hypocrites and corporate sociopaths has damn near ruined a political party. why bitch about a rally thrown by a bunch whose only agenda is the sowing of fear amongst the hoi polloi. it would almost be worthy of pity if the direction of our nation were not at stake. vote your hopes not your fears and quit letting demagogues run you around by your petty hatreds. that goes for democrats as well folks so dont take this as a partisan diatribe cause it aint. christ though whats so funny bout peace love and understanding?BUDDYCORBETT
I attended this event and am surprised at the responses from my neighbors. The greatest thing about our system of government and our constitution is our right to be free thinkers and voice our opinions. But defaming someone for their opinions in such a broad manner seems pretty low class to me.
The event was great and it is always a delight to hear our elected officials speak to current issues. The event certainly wasn’t closed to the opposition and I would encourage anybody to attend the next event.
p.s. I’m a gay Republican Buddy Corbett, and I think your arguement lacks merit and substance.
Looting the treasury and robbing my family of their hard earned retirement is “low class to me.”
Lying to the American people and the world about weapons of mass destruction is “low class to me.”
Invading a country based on a lie thus killing and maiming people, mothers, fathers, and children is “low class to me.”
How come we haven’t heard about Dick Cheney during this whole horrific economic meltdown? Is he off counting his investments and bloody money in a foreign country?
Apparently, Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers had a personal visit with Buddy “Peace Love and Understanding” Corbett on Tuesday. “dont take this as a partisan diatribe cause it aint”? What do you call it? A nice example of tolerance of other’s opinions, there, “Bud”.
EXCELLENT OBSERVATION!
I keep wondering why there have been NO INDICTMENTS issued to the banks etc..& et. al. …other big-time fat-cats
#13 It’s because of a bothersome little thing called “due process”. Catch CSPAN every once in awhile. You just might accidentally learn something. For example, say, the hearings currently being held by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
