From a series of lectures on Black history, culture and related issues being presented at the Family Resource Center as a collaboration between VCU’s Department of African American Studies, Richmond’s Slave Trail Commission, the Family Resource Center, the Elegba Folklore Society and the VCU College of Humanities and Sciences.
VHDA Homeownership Education Program

Virginia Housing Development Authority’s FREE Homeownership Education Program teaches future homeowners how to prepare a spending plan, understand credit reports and credit issues, qualifying for a mortgage loan, choosing the right home and more. Participants receive a certificate upon completion of the course.
