anybody lose a beagle?
01/05/2009 6:21 AM by John M
Kathleen sends in word of a found beagle:
I came home this evening to find a small male beagle asleep on our front doormat. No collar. He’s about 3-4 years old and approximately 15″ tall. I am afraid that someone has abandoned him in our fenced front yard, knowing that I work with rescues. I haven’t had a chance to have him checked for a microchip, but I will take him tomorrow. In the meantime, if you hear of anyone that is missing a tri-color beagle, please pass on my phone number (804.339.2492) and/or forward this email. His pics are attached. He’s a sweet boy – seems to be housebroken and is good with my other dogs. His temporary name is Ernie.
TAGGED: pets
What a cute little pup! Hope he finds his owner or someone willing to give him a good, loving home.
I cannot keep Ernie, as I already have 3 dogs. He will be available for adoption, if an owner is not located.
I wish I could take him, but I have two beagles already. That is very kind of you to help him out though.
What part of church hill do you live in?
the 300 block of n 32nd street
Cute little guy.
While I may be wrong, I think I’ve seen him at the new dog park a few times….or at least at Barker Field.
Good for you for looking out for him and doing your part.
Today is his last day on hold per RACC. He’s getting neutered and his shots tomorrow. Ernie has been adopted by a family in Harrisonburg and will go to them next week.
