Ten Steps to Financial Success

Ten Steps to Financial Success, a free seminar exploring budgeting, spending, and money management, will be offered to parents, teachers and members of the community at Fairfield Court Elementary School. Taught by Virginia Credit Union, the seminar will be Tuesday, Jan. 13, from 4:45PM – 6PM. A second financial education seminar will follow on January 27.

re-enactment of the Inauguration of Thomas Jefferson

The John Marshall House, 818 East Marshall St, (Richmond) is hosting a re-enactment of the Inauguration of Thomas Jefferson on Friday, January 16th, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is a FREE event.
Chief Justice John Marshall presided over nine presidential inaugurations .The John Marshall House requests the Honor of Your Presence and Participation in the 1801 inauguration of Thomas Jefferson by Chief Justice John Marshall on Friday, January sixteenth at eleven-thirty a.m at the historic John Marshall House, 818 East Marshall Street for the re-enactment of the famous Inauguration of 1801 featuring Mark Greenough as the Great Chief Justice, John Marshall, and Bill Barker as President Elect Thomas Jefferson. On street parking available on Ninth and Marshall Streets.
Refreshments at the conclusion of the ceremony.Open to the public, donation suggested.
