Richmond’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities is holding a series of focus group discussions with city teens during the month of February and is looking for teenagers who want to share their opinions to participate.

The department will ask the teens to review and evaluate its current programs and make suggestions for future programs. The information gathered will be incorporated into the department’s planning to help build a better foundation for programs and to enhance services.

The focus group sessions will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the department’s Pine Camp Community Center, located at 4901 Old Brook Road on Richmond’s Northside, and on Feb. 19 at the department’s Hickory Hill Community Center, located at 3000 East Belt Blvd., on Richmond’s Southside.

Participants must be city residents between the ages of 13 and 17 to participate. To register for one of the focus groups, call 646-3998.
