Blue Crump of CityspaceConstruction and CityspaceSolar will present information about how to make your older house greener and more efficient. Cost is $15 ($10 for ACORN members) and reservations are required.
To reserve a place or to get more information, call (804) 644-5040 or send an e-mail to info@richmondneighborhoods.org.
From the ACORN email about the event:
According to the U.S. Green Building Council, buildings account for 65% of electricity consumption, 36% of energy use, 30% of greenhouse gas emission, 30% of raw materials use, 30% of waste output, and 12% of potable water consumption. Cityspace operates on the premise “that a greener house is a better built, more efficient house.” While they offer new construction services, renovations and remodels are a primary part of their business. This is your opportunity to get answers to the questions, “Why– and How– to go Green?”ÂÂ
