meet & greet with candidate for city sheriff

There will be a meet&greet for Major Antoinette Irving of the Henrico County Sheriffs Department, candidate for RIchmond Sheriff this fall, at the home of Kenneth and Connie Samuels (1916 Princess Anne Avenue) tonight from 6-9PM.
Irving yesterday announced her candidacy at Main Street Station. The current office holder, Sheriff C.T. Woody, has stated that he will be running again for the office. Both are running as Democrats; the primary is June 9.
There seems to be a scarcity of candidates for this job. On the plus side you can hire your relatives and get your name printed on department vehicles.
