Robberies down in the East End

In addition to an East End homicide count down that is dramatically lower than last year through the 1st quarter, the 1st Precinct count for robberies is down from last year at this time as well. The RPD’s Crime Incident Info Center shows only 8 robberies in the 1st Precinct so far this year, compared to 33 through March 30th last year. This is in marked contrast to a 15% increase in robberies city wide.

The yellow markers on the CHPN Crime Map are robberies. Dark blue are burglaries, pink is prostitution.
