UHCA offers membership by service in lieu of dues

Also at last night’s meeting, the Union Hill Civic Association moved to open membership to every resident of Union Hill regardless of ability to pay the membership dues. Directly from UHCA president Matt Conrad:

Although I am proud of last night’s vote in favor of the proposed O&H district for Union Hill, I am most proud of our civic association’s continued efforts at fostering a diverse and inclusive community.  To that end, our civic association voted unanimously to extend full membership with voting privileges to residents of Union Hill who confidentially assert to our Treasurer that they cannot afford our annual dues and who instead choose to offer 1 to 3 hours of service to the community or our association during the membership year.
