Already much discussed, but still needing a photo&post: 25 ST Bar & Grill (at the former Y’alls Grill).
TAGGED: 25 ST Bar & Grill
The first sign was terrible, this one is just as bad…
You’re an evil man, John Murden.
The sign is bright & at least gets your attention. The sign at Y’alls never did.
somebody used microsoft word to make that sign.
Neighbors, we are supposed to be welcoming to the newest business up here!!
Can’t wait to hear more details about it…
Welcome! Here’s to your success.
Hope you keep up those great happy hour specials.
Now, yes, this is a pretty tacky sign. But more importantly, the facade needs a major facelift.
How about an awning, some windows, an open/closed sign that looks friendly?
I’m sure there’s all sorts of ordinance etc… about paint colors, or sidewalk obstructions but the place must look inviting and not like the tinted-windowed, barred-entrace sindin that it appears to be. Good luck!
And no, none of the above are from me but one can see the points I made elsewhere others share.
The sign is pretty cheap looking but at least you can read the name of the business where the Y’all’s sign was lost in the busyness of the background and bad script lettering. Whatever happened to advertisement graphic artists and professional sign makers that use to make poured cast molds of the sign lettering and logos to raise them to make the “pop” for painting? Gone with neon sign makers???
And yes Zelig, the front of the building still looks like either a staging area for prisoners or a back alley speakeasy. I still think a large ground level window would make all the difference in the world for ANY business there.
