UHCA meeting tonight at Cedar Street
A message from Matt Conrad of the UHCA:
Please plan to attend the Union Hill Civic Association meeting at 7 pm at Cedar Street Baptist Church TONIGHT. As you recall, Lieutenant Laino of RPD’s First Precinct has asked us to hold our meeting a week early so that he, RBHA and Second Responders may address community concerns related to the shooting in our community on 22nd Street and other matters. We must also elect officers for the 2009-10 year.
Included on the agenda will be:
1) Zoning and Old and Historic updates
2) Discussion of the Cedar and Broad project due to changes in design
3) Election of 2009-10 officers
4) Planning of summer picnics and events in lieu of monthly meetings.
5) Development of property in the 700 block of Mosby.Please let me know if there are any other topics that should be included.
Hi Matt- I don’t know if the UHCA Meeting would be the appropriate venue, but are you planning on discussing the illegal boarding house at 408 N. 25th street? There is a CAPS meeting tonight (which I am attending with a number of my neighbors) and we are planning on making this a primary focus of the meeting. We would appreciate any discussion on this that could also take place at the UHCA meeting this evening. Thanks!
Feel free to stop by our meeting after CAPS. We are just a couple blocks over from there at 2301 Cedar Street and will begin around 7:00. I’m sure we won’t get to that topic until closer to 8:00.
