School Board 7th District member Don Coleman sent out his email newsletter for June today, with a wrap-up of recent issues and activities, including his visit to Milwaukee to study successes of Violence Free Zones, Franklin Military now accepting applications for 6th graders for 2009-2010, the playground fire at George Mason, and spotlight on Fairfield Court Elementary School.
School Board meetings are the 1st and 3rd Mondays at 6pm in City Hall. 1st Mondays on 2nd Floor Council Chambers 3rd Mondays 17th Floor School Board Room. There will be no meetings in July 2009.
