James Earl Jones is missing
07/11/2009 6:36 PM by John M
James is an 11 lbs American short hair neutered male. He is a black cat with a white chin, neck and belly. He also has white markings on his paws. James is an indoor/outdoor cat but stayed close to home and would come when called. James was wearing a blue break away collar with a pink tag when he left home on Wednesday morning. The number on the pink tag (804) 864-0075 is incorrect, his current number is (804)254-2715. James is a shy kitty but very sweet and can be bribed with cheese flavor popcorn, he prefers white cheddar.

Saw a cat matching that description on Franklin between 25th and 26th. couldn’t tell if there was a collar. Could not get him to come near. He’s been around for a couple of days now on the same street and I’ve seen him about 3 times. Might want to try looking for him there.
What block does JEJ live on (i.e. where did he go missing from)?

James lives on the 27th block of M st. I will look on Franklin tomorrow. I have called the shelter and left a description with them. Thanks for all your help. I hope he’ll turn up soon.
There is a B&W kitty that lives on Franklin right off the corner of 26th. Don’t want you to have false hope- he’s probably not the one you want.
Good luck, I hope he comes home soon
Just saw a black and white cat on 23rd 24th mst with what looked to be a blue coller, whent up ally at 2308 mst
I saw this cat on our porch on Sunday afternoon about 4 pm (400 block of N 27th Street). I tried calling him to be friendly but he ran off.
Eric
Sounds like James is out there, just needs his folks to find him with some of his favorite popcorn. Distance from Eric’s’ at 27th Street down to 24th isn’t too far but does involve crossing some streets, if in fact it’s the same kitty. And from 27th and M to Eric’s is an easy walk for a kitty.
I’d love to have a happy ending to a cat missing thread….hope you find him!
I got a picture of the cat who lives around 26th and Franklin this morning. It was snoozing on my neighbors porch and I snapped it with my cell phone camera. No collar but White paws and white chin.
