Woodville kids get chance at summer camp

Bill Lohmann shares a look at a volunteer process that gets hundreds of kids to summer camp:

The seven children on the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church van and nearly 200 others in the East End wouldn’t be going to camp were it not for the Micah Initiative, a citywide partnership between local faith communities and Richmond public schools, or Page Luxmoore. […] 205 children from Woodville are attending 19 day camps and 11 residential camps throughout the Richmond area and beyond. Sixty volunteers are handling the transportation and other logistics.
