Volunteer to help build the new playground at Chimborazo Park

A message from the Friends of Chimborazo Playground:
If you’ve always wanted to volunteer and make our neighborhood a better place, here’s an easy way to do it. We need 75 volunteers from Church Hill to help build the children’s new playground at Chimborazo Park on Thursday, Sept. 10. You don’t have to be handy with a hammer to help. Learn about volunteer opportunities, playground design and how you can help at the next Friends of Chimborazo Playground Community meeting [on August 10 @7PM at EDI – 701 North 25th Street]
If there isn’t babysitting set up, we should do so. I’d love to help but would need to leave my toddler in good hands for a few hours. I’d be happy to watch a few others in trade too so we can help build the new playground.
