Where is this?

An unlabeled glimpse to an earlier time from the archives of the Virginia Film Commission, this looks to be from the late 1980s or early 1990s. Can anyone identify the block?
I think that’s the 800 block on N. 26th St. The trees and houses have changed a bit, but after looking at it in Google Street View, I think that’s where it is
Heck yeah, good eye.
How cool is that blue car?
the blue car is sweet, probably got clunkered for cash last week.
good move ditching the awnings.
can we make this a weekly contest?
That blue car is very cool; it’s a late 70s to early 80s Pontiac Trans Am. It wouldn’t be eligible for the “cash for clunkers” program because no cars built before 1984 are accepted. The last year for that design was 1981 (I’ve got an ’83, the “Knight Rider” style).
This is my block, my place is the yellow one on the left; and no that is NOT my Pod. Thanks for posting the pic. I love seeing how it was before my time in Richmond!
