Know a part-time gardner looking for work?

The Historic Richmond Foundation is looking for a little gardening help:

We are a local nonprofit that is looking for a caretaker of a lovely historic garden property that we own in the St. John’s Church Historic District.

We need someone who can spend one to two hours every morning, 5-6 days a week, walking through the property, picking up trash, raking leaves, weed-whacking, trimming boxwoods, carrying out seasonal plantings and watering as needed. The fall is the most difficult time for our property.

We would prefer someone who lives in Church Hill, who loves to garden and to be outside and who can give us weekly email updates on how the property looks. Gardening knowledge is essential.

We can offer $400 a month for complete maintenance.
