Where’s a good place to get copies?

Another reader question: Can anyone recommend a printing or reproduction business that could handle mass copies (of fliers) cheaply?
TAGGED: question
Yes! Call Brooke at James River Press http://www.jamesriverpress.com.
They’re great. With quick turnaround and a variety of digital printers to handle simple one page fliers or more elaborate brochures. They’re a wonderful alternative to Kinkos…and cheaper (at least for the fliers and mailings we produced.) Plus, they’re a mailing house, too.
Right down the hill at 807 Oliver Hill Way, tel (804) 230-4515. They’ve already done a few jobs for Union Hill’s Historic District Initiative and they’re good neighbors, ta’boot. Ask for Brooke.
Try Spectrum Press. 3413 Carlton St. 643-0356. I think they moved from East Main Street to Scott’s Addition last year.
I’ve got to wholeheartedly recommend Wythken printing on Grace Street. They’ve got great prices and have never let me down on quality (and I’ve run hundreds of print jobs of all types there). Ask for Chuck or Ric and check out http://www.wythken.com/
High quality work, quick turn around, low prices: Zooom Printing on Westmoreland.
There are lots of online places where you can get 4-color brochures and flyers printed for about the same cost as a standard photocopy if you’re buying in bulk. Try Taradel (they’re based out of Richmond, and it’s all done online), taradel.com. I’ve used them twice and am very happy with the results and price.
Uptown Color, near VCU at 1205 West Main Street, is also a place to consider . They’re fast, friendly and I think their prices are pretty competitive. 804-353-2679
