Two candidate forums set for October

John Johnson, president of the Church Hill Association, has announced that the CHA and other area civic association have invited the six candidates for the City Council 7th District seat to a Candidate Forum to be held on either October 8th or 15th from 7-9PM at the Robinson Theater (2903 Q Street).

The intent of the Forum is to know the candidates better and to offer them opportunity to present their platforms and reasons why the public should elect them to City Council.

Format for the forum will be similar to those hosted by the League Of Women Voters.

This is an intital notice of this Forum and once the actual date is decided by the candidates, we will immediately inform everyone.

In addition, the Richmond Business Council of the Greater Richmond Chamber has scheduled a Seventh District candidates’ forum on Wednesday, October 21 from 7:30-9AM. All candidates have been invited; location is TBA.
