Sector 111 report for September

Lieutenant Laino’s Sector 111 report for September (PDF) is available. Sector 111 encompasses Church Hill, Chimborazo, Church Hill North, Fulton, Oakwood, and Union Hill. Some highlights:

During the month of September, the Sector experienced a 0% change in Major Crime; a 200% increase in violent crime (4 incidents reported in 2008 compared to 12 in 2009) and a 13% decrease in property crime (61 incidents reported in 2008 compared to 53 in 2009). The 12 violent crimes reported included: 1 Aggravated Assault (Domestic related), 5 Aggravated Assaults and 6 robberies. Of the 12 violent incidents reported 7 of them have been cleared by arrest, one was committed by a known person that hasn’t been located and the remaining 4 are still being investigated by detectives. The current trend in Property Crime continues to be residential burglaries and most recently all other larceny, which includes everything from bicycles to flags attached to the front porch.
