Penny Cemetery Fund’s Evergreen Cleanup

The Penny Cemetery Fund, an attempt to bring new sources of volunteers and funding to the reclamation of Evergreen Cemetery, is organizing a “a huge volunteer clean-up day” on Saturday, November 7th. The goal to is to clear one acre.

Veteran’s Day Reenactment

Commemorate Veteran’s Day by bringing your friends and family to a reenactment of the Second Virginia Convention of March 1775. In the presence of Washington, Jefferson, and other notable Virginians, Patrick Henry delivered his passionate call for liberty, uttering the immortal words, “Give me liberty or give me death!” Free and open to the public. Church HIll North Association meeting

City Council Formal Meeting

Every 2nd and 4th Mon – Responsible for deciding official Council action, which includes discussing, adopting, rejecting, and amending laws and approving the budget. Formal meetings include a time for pubic comment and are televised live on the local PBS station and are replayed in Richmond on Government Access Channel 17, beginning at Noon and 7:00 p.m. daily.
