Miramar @ Que Pasa

Latin American songs with Miramar (featuring members of Bio Ritmo and Quatro Na Bosa). Saturday Nov 21st @ Que Pasa.
I have been dying to try out this spot since I am Cuban and grew up in Puerto Rico. Saturday, 11/14, I went with some family to try out this restaurant advertised as serving Cuban and Puerto Rican food. I was extremely disappointed and will not return to eat there.
Pros: Great atmosphere and although that night there was no entertainment, it seems like a cool place to hang out and listen to a band play.
Cons: Expensive. The food is definitely not Cuban nor Puerto Rican. The names on the menu are correct, but the food did not have any of the flavors from Cuban or Puerto Rico. The coffee tasted terrible and they did not have regular cream or milk, only flavored cream.
What a shame!!!
Great atmosphere. Great place to drink and hang out. Great live entertainment. Terrible food.
ileana,
Have you tried Kuba Kuba at Park and Lombardy, in the Fan? I have been to Miami twice and could not find Cuban food that could top that place.
Agreed with anon. Great atmosphere and really good Mojitos – but we won’t eat there again. And that’s a shame because the owner could really carve out a niche in that area.
Grab a mojito and listen to these people. Laura Ann is very very good.
