Richmond population continues to climb

The U.S.Census Bureau yesterday released July 1, 2009, population estimates for each of the nation’s counties and metropolitan and micropolitan statistical areas. The new data show Richmond gaining 1,580+ new residents in the previous year, and the population count up over 7,000 from a low-point in 2005.
