With Church Hill Herbs and Florist having seen their final days, what would be a good business for location?
Word on the street has it that “Pets at Play” will be taking over the building shortly to expand their business.
The Kings Retreat!
Pet @ play will being relocating there!
Amsterday style coffee shop!
Meant “Amsterdam”.
we have a coffee shop with buzzy’s but a video or bookstore would be nice.
leigh, I don’t think you are getting what he meant by Amsterdam style coffee shop.;)
Liquor store.
Apparently we don’t need a “coffee shop” to openly smoke pot in Church Hill. The boys on the block do it all day long with impunity.
Lols to “video or bookstore”
Do those things still even exist?
Yarn. We need more yarn. 🙂
A wine and beer place like Once Upon a Vine.
I was hoping for a strip joint or the world headquarters of CHPN. Perhaps they could be one and the same? Or perhaps an Amsterdam style coffee house/strip joint serving as CHPN world
headqueaters? Thats it!….or a flower and herb shop would be nice.
Mark, I agree! Craft beer and fine wine would be great. We have to drive all the way to the West End to get either.
Yes! Upscale Wine and Beer shop like Once Upon a Vine! That’d be great to walk to a store instead of heading over to the Northside everytime you need a wine pairing.
It looks like there’s a wine shop moving in to the Bottom. I’ve seen construction in the space next to Lulu’s and the old 17.5 Cafe. Seems pretty sizable too.
How about a “Ukrops Market” where there’s 87 year old hunchbacks pushing your cart, overpriced produce, no beer or wine, and no Sunday hours? Oh – wait a second… that didn’t work already in Richmond. Maybe a bowling alley?
How ’bout a specialty “40” shoppe that has all varieties and the deuce deuce, of course.
Post 17. “87 year old hunchback!” How unkind a thing to say is that!
