Orienteering Day returns to Chimborazo in June

Learn fitness, geography, land formations, cognitive reasoning, problem solving and self-reliance! Family Orienteering Day will again be held in Chimborazo Park on Saturday, June 12. Registration is 10AM-noon, the event will run noon-3PM.

Wikipedia describes orienteering as:
… a family of sports that require navigational skills using a map and compass to navigate from point to point in diverse and usually unfamiliar terrain. Participants are given a map, usually a specially prepared orienteering map, which they use to find control points.
