Second Midlothian homicide suspect has local connection

Richmond Police are seeking Kevin Antoine Alert, 23, of the 2000 block of Q Street or the 10,000 block of Woodman Road in Henrico County in connection to a homicide last Tuesday on Midlothian Turnpike. He is also known to hang out in the 1800 block of Creighton Road.

Alert has been identified as the second suspect wanted in connection with last Thursday’s homicide at the Host Inn, 6621 Midlothian Turnpike. He is about 5’10”, weighs approximately 175 pounds and now has short, low cut hair.
 
The first suspect, Craig Butler, 34, no fixed address, was arrested Friday in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
 
On April 28, Brandon Justin-Louis Webb, 24, of the 1400 block of Georgia Avenue, was found shot to death at 10:48 a.m. inside a room of the motel.
 
Investigators ask anyone with any information about Alert’s whereabouts to call Detective Michael Gouldman at 512-2950 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
