Sector 113 report for June

RHAPD Officers, Reynolds and Edwards, acting on information from another officer, initiated a traffic stop for a narcotics violation, in the 2000 Blk of Creighton Rd. During the course of the traffic stop, a consent search was conducted.  26 Grams of Heroin, a 9mm Jimenez Handgun, and $586.00 USC was located in the vehicle.?The vehicle operator attempted to flee while an officer was checking the vehicle and was apprehended a short distance away without further incident.  The operator admitted the items belonged to him and was charged with Possession of Heroin with Intent (F), Possession of Firearm with Narcotics(F), Possession of Heroin with Intent in a School Zone and Suspended Operator’s License.
