To donate clothes?

A reader is looking for some help donating:
I’m looking for a place to take unwanted clothes that will be given away, not sold. Know of a place in CH?
TAGGED: question
The Family Resource Center on Jefferson Ave has a “Clothes Pantry” for members of our community who need clothes/shoes which they are invited to take and wear free of charge.
The FRC staff are very nice and appreciate all kinds of clothing, but call them if you’re wondering about any special needs. I’ve taken lots of clothing and shoes there over the years and I always feel it’s appreciated.
I think the Family Resource Center over on Jefferson Ave. might be able to use them. Also worth a call to the (Fulton) Neighborhood Resource Center down on Williamsburg Ave.
Also some of the neighborhood churches take clothes and give them away, sorry I can’t think of which ones. Maybe someone else can name a church or two that they have given clothing to in the area.
I think there is a church on 25th Street and O that has a food pantry. They may have a clothes closet as well. Also check Mount Tabor on Fairmount.
The Shelter for battered women, sure they could use them. Just a thought.
Not sure what type of clothes, but if you have any business/work attire, check out http://www.dressforsuccess.org
They provide suits to women who are trying to get into (or back into) the workforce, but lack the appropriate clothes for even an interview.
Downside is you would need to mail them…their closest location is:
