Please advertise this event in the 12 about town and other papers such as Style. I was a vender in the Spring and there were very few people in attendance. I feel it is not properly advertised to get the maximum attendance.
Thank you,
Deborah Savoca
hey was wondering do you have a food vendor i would love o come out and sell nathan hot dogs on the grill at your yard sale if i could if so email me back please asap thanks
#1, it’s a community yard sale. I ran into Chuck Wrenn today at the folk festival and he said someone had called him about advertising; he usually pays for an ad in the Times Dispatch and hopes that someone will donate a bit to him to offset the cost of that ad. Otherwise, he considers it a community event that he and Marilyn are just coordinating, and that if you want an ad in Style, please place one.
I don’t think Style classifieds are much money, although their display ads do cost a bit. You’re also free to copy the poster at the top of this announcement and use it for ad copy anywhere you want. As to channel 12, if someone would call them that would be great too! I told Chuck that I would post this for him.
#2, probably not a problem, call one of the numbers listed in the poster. Everyone else is selling something, so why not hot dogs?!
It’s on Craigslist: http://richmond.craigslist.org/gms/1999055702.html
Do we need to tell someone that we want to set up or can we just come out and set up our stuff? I’ve always been a buyer, but never a seller. Thanks!
The 10/16 Church Hill Yard Sale is open to all who wish to sell or to buy. Just come and set up. It’s going to be a great day! Blue skies and 70 degrees!
